Let's work together!

*****First-Please take a moment and look at my page "How to prepare my quilt for longarm quilting"

***Quilts need to be received by 12/1 to guarantee Christmas delivery

Please read through this page before filling out the form below.

What size should my backing be?

Here's an easy way to remember: Five: Five: Five! :) I require the backing to be 5" extra ON ALL SIDES. For example, if you have a quilt top that is 60" x 80", your backing should measure at least 70" x 90".

A wide backing is a longarmer's dream!  It is usually square and loads beautifully! I understand the need to piece backing is sometimes necessary but I have found that the more piecing on a backing the higher the chance of it not being square and I may have to spend extra time assuring it loads correctly on my frame.  There will be a charge of $20.00 for any backing with more than 2 seams.   If you have pieced your backing, please indicate if there is a top.

*Please note that I cannot guarantee that a quilt top and backing will be centered.

I offer Shannon Cuddle (minky) fabric in wide width-90" in many colors.  It gives your quilts that extra special something that people love!  Let me know if you'd like to add this backing fabric.  $20/yd.  *I will not accept pieced minky.  A $10.00 charge per quilt will be applied if you choose to supply your own instead of purchasing through me because of the level of difficulty working with it.

TIDY IT UP!

Please press your top and backing for me so that it's nice and tidy and ready for me to load. Please also clip stray threads or raveling fabrics as best as you can. You might not be able to get them all, but to prevent dark threads from shadowing through your quilt top, please don't skip this important step!

Extra fees may apply if I need to put extra time and effort into getting your quilt ready to load. If you have questions, please ask.

You are trusting in our best judgement, and trusting us that we will do the best we can. Sometimes things occur that we cannot control. Occasionally, some computerized quilt designs require each row to line up with the previously stitched row. We do our best to make sure all the points match up. Occasionally, due to circumstances beyond our control, they may not match up perfectly. By agreeing to have your quilting done by us, you acknowledge that this is the case.  We will always work hard to do our best for you.

We are not responsible for expectations beyond our control.

*Fullness Disclaimer - Fullness and/or puckers within a quilt top cannot always be quilted out. I cannot guarantee that puckers and tucks won't be sewn in. In some cases excessive fullness in borders may result in quilt top corners not being square. The flatter your quilt top is, (ironing helps a lot) the better the finished quilt will turn out.  Extra charges may be incurred for time spent working with fullness.

I really want you to be satisfied with my work but it does take some prep on your part.  Let's work together!

Quilting Design:
I want my thread to:
Batting Preference: I stock only Quilter's Dream batting. Most of the batting is on a 93" roll. I will only use what is needed for your quilt (smallest side + a 5" margin) and charge per inch. For example, if you have a 60" x 80" quilt, I would cut 65" of the batting of your choice. 65 of 100% cotto deluxe @ 55¢/inch = $32.50; 65" of 80/20 cotton/silky blend @ 40¢/inch = $26.00. If all sides are over 87" you will need KING size btting and I stock 2 kinds-cotton Select or Bamboo.
Would you like me to trim your finished quilt? I will just cut at quilt edges. This service is no charge with quilting.
Are you requesting binding? Attached to back of quilt and machine stitched to front. $0.25/linear inch
