Let's work together!

First-Please take a moment and look at my page "How to prepare my quilt for longarm quilting" under the More section

To get started, fill out the form below.

What size should my backing be?

Here's an easy way to remember: Four-for-four! :) I require the backing to be 4" extra ON ALL SIDES. For example, if you have a quilt top that is 60" x 80", your backing should measure at least 68" x 88". It can be bigger, not smaller.

If you have pieced your backing, please indicate if there is a top.

Please note that I cannot guarantee that a quilt top and backing will be centered.

If you will be sending minky or any other specialty backing, you must let me know ahead of time.

Some specialty fabrics may incur an additional fee.

Please press your top and backing for me so that it's nice and tidy and ready for me to load. Please also clip stray threads or raveling fabrics as best as you can. You might not be able to get them all, but to prevent dark threads from shadowing through your quilt top, please don't skip this important step!

Extra fees may apply if I need to put extra time and effort into getting your quilt ready to load. If you have questions, please ask.

*Fullness Disclaimer - Fullness and/or puckers within a quilt top cannot always be quilted out. I cannot guarantee that puckers and tucks won't be sewn in. In some cases excessive fullness in borders may result in quilt top corners not being square. The flatter your quilt top is, (ironing helps a lot) the better the finished quilt will turn out.  Extra charges may be incurred for time spent.

I really want you to be satisfied with my work but it does take some prep on your part.  Let's work together!

I want this to be fun for you and not overwhelming! You have the option of having me make the quilting decisions for you. It all depends on your purpose for the quilt, sometimes "done" is best!
